I’m not usually the fastest knitter, and I tend to get bored easily with my projects.  That being said, I do have projects that either excite me or have deadlines (like Christmas presents, baby showers, etc.).

This one might be my new record.  I knit a total of 7 hats – 700 yards of bulky yarn – in about 10 days as part of the Pussyhat Project. I knit one for both E and myself, but also sent one to Washington, D.C. for my cousin and gave several to a friend who was distributing to coworkers.

We weren’t able to march due to being sick, but it makes me happy knowing that I was there in spirit through my knitting.  With that kind of energy, who can stop us?
