Hello again! It’s been awhile! I’m afraid I’ve been entirely too scattered to keep up with everything that’s gone on in the past few months and blogging.

So, what’s been going on?  In the past four months, we…

Bought a house!  The process went significantly smoother and more quickly than I expected when we started, but we couldn’t be happier with the results. The best part is that we moved before E started kindergarten. She’s attending the local public school about 1/4 mile from our house.

E started kindergarten!  She’s growing so fast.  Since the summer she’s started reading everything.  Andy and I can’t really spell things to try to have conversations without her knowing what’s going on.  I learned the hard way when I asked Andy if he wanted “P-I-Z-Z-A” for dinner, and E quickly responded, “I want pizza!”.

We are expecting baby 2! Baby girl is due at the end of February (so she’ll probably be born in March).  We are all thrilled, but I don’t think anyone is more excited than E. She didn’t know whether or not to believe us when we first told her, but she’s fully embraced her role as big sister and talks to everyone about what they are going to do together.

I’ve got a lot of ideas for posts going forward, including how this pregnancy is different, things we are learning as new homeowners, and our upcoming trip to Hawaii!
